 feel bad with dealership

They promised me to trade off the exact car I wanted from another dealership within 2 days, that made me happy and I put $1000 deposit without hesitation, I waited 3 days, they told me they couldn't get that car, because there was no exact picking up date on purchase agreement, so they wanted me wait another 8 weeks, I was fully upset, if they let me know before I signed the purchase agreement that they couldn't guarantee they can trade off that car, I would have made another choice, now I lost many choices which I could have made, I don't know what I should do now, I should have known any oral promise from dealer is totally ****!!

8 weeks is an order, so call around and see what you can find and get your deposit back. They can't keep it in most states, I know in NY they can't. Also if there is no purchase delivery date/signature it is not a valid contract, an oral agreement is also an agreement in many states, so that is another way out. Best of luck

Thanks! I will ask back my deposit!
What made me mad is they didn't admit what they said to me, because they believe I didn't use a recorder to copy what they said, I have no idea.

Get your deposit back and run as far away as possible from this dealership. Talk about a bait and switch.

I hope that you put the deposit on a credit card; so that, you can dispute if they don't return it.
