 What's the best tint percentage?

I pickup my 325 XI tomorrow and i want to get the 4 windows and rear windshield tinted..I don't want it to be too dark, but I still would like it dark enough to look tinted...I was thinking 35%...any thoughts?

I personally like a darker tint. Not pitch-black, but somewhere around 20% is hot.

PokerFace, please let me know what you decide on and post pics. I too will be getting Sparkline Graphite and am planning to tint the windows.

On my current car, I ended up getting 30 in back and 40 in front. It was understated yet sporty. Always got tons of compliments on it. And the difference between front and back is such a subtle fade, you really can't tell it's any lighter.

I will probably repeat this on my e90.

The timing of this thread is perfect - I have just been talking to my CA about tint on re-delivery - and was just thinking about what percentage

I want it dark - being in Texas - but not so dark I can't see clearly at night. I am also getting the rear shades so that should be good too

Can someone clarify for me how the % works - lower number is darker right ?

Be careful, I have too many friends that have gotten pulled over by cops on a power trip because it's darker than the law allows or they want you to prove it's a legal tint.
