Anyone know what the September update fixes other than RDS? I just had my brain-update a couple days ago and there doesn't seem to be anything other that RDS working now (and just about all of my programmed settings being lost). I have to admit though, the RDS display on the E90 Nav screen is pretty poor now that I have it. I actually find myself missing the frequency display I had last week (I know I can turn RDS off but still...it's new so I have to play with it). What I'd really like would be to see the frequency displayed on the station list and the RDS info displayed at the bottom of the screen for the selected station. (Does this make me an RDS snob? Is there such a thing? ).
Anyway, just curious if anyone has noticed or been told of anything else that is fixed/upgraded with this new software.

Something I learned recently when I had my SW upgraded on my non-Idrive E90. BMW has a SW package for each programming option configuration. The programming options are not a simple setting that is programmed or saved through upgrades into your cars computer.
The affect of this, is if you don't tell your service advisor to preserve those specific settings. When they download the standard SW upgrade package for your car, it will be programmed with the default programming options. This will require you to take your car back in, to have those programming options re-enabled via yet another SW upgrade. Better to highlight it at the begining, so you don't have to take your car in twice.

Is there a way to check the sofware level of my E90. I just took delivery last Sat. Presumably there could be updates while the car was in transit. Also, is there a place somewhere that I can see release notes or such as to what fixes were made in the software.

There where also some talk about WB (weather band) and HD (High Definition radio). Did you get any of these with the update? It's good to know that at least RDS is working, I can start nagging to my dealer about getting the update.
