After making its long trek across the ocean on the Maresk Teal and being "prepped" at the mysterious Vehicle Preparation Center, my 330xi is supposedly being delivered to my dealer (in Chicago) tomorrow.
While I anxiously await an email response from my sales guy, I have to ask here:
What all does the dealer have to do to the car before I can take possession of it? If it arrives tomorrow (at a reasonably early hour) is it unrealistic to expect to get it tomorrow?
Impatient and enquiring minds want to know!

Based on delivery of my last 325xi 3 years ago, it should be pretty quick but not the same day. They do the pre delivery inspection which is a checklist of 30-40 things. I don't think it is very much work. Good luck getting the car! Be sure post some pictures.

Turns out it came in a day early (today!) I just made an appointment to pick it up tomorrow at 4:30. How will I ever be able to sleep!

My 325 XI is at the dealership now and I'm picking it up tomorrow. Knowing that it's over there just 1 mile away is eatin at me!!!
