Franconia has left Baltimore with my 325xi and is due to dock in Charleston at Union Pier on Monday, Oct. 10th! Thank heaven for clear seas. Now is only those friendly, efficient dock workers can get it to the VPC and on to my dealer within a week that would be great! In Germany it would took almost two weeks from the end of production to leaving port. Anyone else on the Franconia?

Our new 330xi is also on the Franconia. Wasn't sure if it would still arrive at Charleston on Oct 10th or not since it actually departed a few of days late from Bremerhaven (i.e., Sep 28th versus Sep 25th).
Since you cite Baltimore, are you saying the ship has made it here to the states and now just has to make it's way to Charleston?
My CA said that we should have it in about a week once it arrives there.
Seems like it has taken forever since production was completed, but wait is almost over.

If you go to the Port of Charleston website, look under the UP terminal, it will show the schedule and when it will arrive. It was showing the 11th on Wednesday but moved it up to the 10th. It is updated every 30 minutes and should be pretty accurate. I hope your CA is correct about the week estimate as my dealer said 10 - 14 days. I like your estimate better.

Franconia docked in Port Charleston at 4am this morning and started unloading our cars at 8am EST, 50 minutes ago. Yeah!!!
