Time to order, but first some newbie questions.

I'm planning on getting a 325i w/ Xenon and Premium Package. I opted against the SP due to the differing tire sizes in the front and rear. I'd rather get the full use out of all my tires and decided it would one less thing to worry about as I won't have time at pilot training. Here's what I'm ordering:

325i
Graphite Metallic
Premium Package
Black Leather
Chrome exhaust pipes
Alarm for $300? is it worth it?

My main question is about the price of the vehicle. The invoice is $3000 less than the MSRP according to edmunds.com. Is $1400 off of MSRP pretty dang good for a BMW? My dealer quoted me a price on a car earlier in the year with $800 off MSRP and before the $600 increase in Sept. I called today to confirm that price and he didn't say anything about the $600 increase so I'm assuming its still good, if not I'll still get the sucker . What is everyone else paying for theirs. Are you starting negotiations from the standpoint of x amount off of MSRP, or rather, "I'll pay X amount over invoice." Where are you getting your invoice prices from? This is my first car buying experience without the folks, so I'm doing all negotiations. Any and all advice and comments are appreciated!

Please clarify what you mean by full use out of all of your tires.

Yeah, that's pretty much what I meant...and you can laugh, but as a new lieutenant I won't have a lot of time or money. Don't want to worry abuot changing tires too often. I mean they will wear significantly faster than stock all weather 16's right? If not I may consider them. The 16's are estimated as a 40,000 mile tire and that even seems a little crappy.

Besides, I can outmanuever any car on earth in the T-6 I'll be flying. Maybe when I've got a little more cash a few years down the road I'll put the SP on my next bimmer (that is if I like the first one

Convince me to get the SP...just want to hear your thoughts....but yeah, what about the pricing...does that seem reasonable? Thanks a bunch!
