So, I was punching around for some fun. Next thing, this metabolically challenged in a Caravan tries to outrun me from a stop light. I was thinking, "Gee, why don't this dork at least get out of the Van?".
Nobody, let alone a van, ever tried to outrun me when I was in my old Integra. Should I be expecting to see more of these pesky dorks, now that I'm a bimmer driver from the dark side?

For me, depending on my mood, I either ignore them or make them see my tail lights (not for long though).
But at the same time, your car will also command a lot of respect on the road. Give a turn signal and people will let you in.... Audi and VW (and e46 drivers) will stop driving rash when u are in the vicinity...
Where was this again - I would love to race the caravan too!!

I would expect more idiotic challenges if I were in an Integra. No one has challenged me yet. I got alot more challenges when I had my Celica and a few when I had my Mazda 3.

I got this nonsense in a guy in a Lexus GS300. I suspect our horsepower was similar, but I certainly wasn't interested, and I didn't expect it. I bought my car because it was luxurious, it handled well, and its horsepower was sufficient. (Comparing it to the Infiniti M35/G35). I don't really care if someone else wants to show me he's hot off the line, especially when I didn't know it was coming.

Well, my integra is rather inconspicuous 16 year old. But I remember being in my friends red bimmer years ago. We were minding our own business coming back from lunch, and a pickup for absolutely no reason tried to run him off the road. Maybe there are some bmw haters out there?
