Moving from 325 (2003) to 323 (2006)?
Hi,
I have a leased 325 (2003) which expires in Janaury. Unfortuantely, I can't afford to lease another 325, my budget will only cover a 323 (2006). What do you guys think? Am I going to be disappointed in getting the 323 or is the new model just as great as my 'old' 325 is?
Thanks for your advice.

Thanks for your advice. | Well, here in the US, we don't have the 323i. But I have to tell you, that I would love this car in any configuration. No matter what anyone tells you about the engine/wheel-tire size/standard equipment/optional equipment of the 323i, it's still an E90. That means a killer aluminum front-end, spectacular steering and the fun of owning a BMW.
I wish I'd started sooner with low-end BMWs when I was younger (my 330i is my first BMW, and I am an old fart). That way, I could've moved up sooner.

Thanks for your advice. | I guess a test drive would tell you what you need to know. Comparing the new E90 engine to the E46 - from BMW stats.............
The engine is only 10HP less (174) than the current E46 325Ci (184). It also specs at 8 secs for 0-100km vs. 7.6 secs for the 325 Coupe
