Whining sound
When I drive my new 325i I can hear a whining/whirring noise when I accelerate. Is this normal? It's not bothering me, but I just want to make sure that everything is working the way it should be.

I have fairly sensitive hearing, and with my [Steptronic] 325i, there is a bit of gear whine audible under very light acceleration/deceleration. Not clear whether your vehicle is Steptronic or manual.

Yeah I have the steptronic. It is noticeable in M1 and M2... a little bit in M3...
