If anyone has the E90 w/ Nav, and got the software update released this september, does the MP3 capability work? To clarify, as I assume almost everyone knows, MP3 cd's do not work if you have Navigation. Is this problem resolved with the software update, or is it a hardware issue, and a software update will not solve it?

I got my E90 beginning of June and have had no software update yet I am able to play CDs with MP3 when insert through the front loader. I have put a MP3 CD into the shuttle and it recognises it. I haven't however played it yet.
See my thread for what happens when I insert a DVD with MP3s.

However, I am also very positive that mp3 cdr's can not be played in the cd dash. I was wondering if this was a software issue... or hardware (which I might suspect). I guess I'll find out when I get the update. Or I might just call BMWNA.
