I have a 2006 325i with about 5000 miles. Was using the navagation system yesterday while in Niagara falls. Stopped for lunch, when I came back the nav. would not track the road and became stationary. Turned the screen off and came home about 80 miles away. When I got to my house i pressed the BMW assist button to find out if they knew where I was. The lady on the other side told me that I was in Niagara Falls. In othwer words, the GPS system stopped working. Taking it to the dealer tomorrow. I'll keep you posted. |

That happened to me once too. Sometimes the whole system is getting frozen. Leaving the car over the night solved the problem.

Did you try pressing the Power-Eject-Eject buttons all at once to CTRL-ALT-DEL and reboot your nav computer?

Quote: | Where is this power-eject botton? | The power / volume button that controls the audio system (in between the nav DVD drive and CD drive) and the eject buttons for both the CD and DVD drive. Pushing all three simultaneously will reboot the system.
