 Pics of manual sport seats?

Anybody have pictures of their manual sport seat adjustments? I'm just curious as to how they work and our dealer doesn't have a car without the premium pkg. Thanks in advance!

No, dual power seats with driver memory come with the Premium Package. Mainly curious to see if the side bolster adjustment is a dial or something on the side. That would be a little out of place in my opinion, but still acceptable.

Side bolsters are the same on all models of sport seats.... they actually use a pump! As stated in the info manual, and I have the manual seats and can confirm the bolsters are the same stetup as the power seats!

mapezzul,

So did you opt against the Premium pkg if you don't have power seats? If so do you find yourself missing the conveniences of the audo-dimming mirrors or the power seats? Also curious about the leathertte and your thoughts on that vs. the leather. Does it have a smell to it, obviously not leather, but something? And my primary concern is with tires. I've seen a lot of posts about blowouts with the performance tires. I can afford the car, but don't want to spend excessive money constantly replacing tires.

Trying to determine Premium Pkg vs. Sports as they're both very sporty cars already. Thanks for your thoughts and most importantly, time!

I don't miss the auto dim and since it is my car I never move the seats, so the power was pointless. The side mirrors are actually tinted so you are not dazzled at night! As for the blow outs..... they are not from the tires just bad luck... though they will only last about 15-20k, I posted a video last week about the runflats and a blow out how they are much safer, personally I love the added safety and have never had an issue on my other car with runflats (35k and no blowouts)
As for the leatherette, I prefer it, I could have paid the money for the leather but did not want it... it adds maintenance and BMW leather tends to wear quickly as I have seen on numerous occasions as it is soft. Audi leather different story, buy it in a second. The 'ette looks like leather and is supple enough I have no complaints, people complain about sweating etc. well honestly the leather does the same thing to me so either way I am skrewed. Also the side bolster durability is much better on the 'ette. You also mentioned smells... that is a funny thing, the car has a new smell but not overly strong and I thought it was strange until I recieved the BMW TECHNOLOGY magazine in the mail and read the story about how BMW is using materials that do not release odors, or allergens. they actually pay people to sniff stuff and have machines that do it as well. Apparently they age the materials by baking it etc. very interesting!
The only option I wish I had on the car is not available in the US and I will be trying to import it... the split sliding armrest! BTW the 17" rims are much nicer than they look in pictures and actually are from the interior door pulls and armrests, hard to explain but the turn on the spokes replicates those interior items! Best of luck and feel free to ask any questions via PM!
