 New Member, A few Questions...

Hey everyone, purchased my first BMW back in June and received on July 20th..ish (dont remember exact date). Purchased a Jet Black 2006 325i with Tan interior, Navigation, Premium Package, Cold Weather Package and Steptronic Auto Transy. This is my first post even though I have been following the forum for a while now, and I would like to say almost everyone's response has been very informative to most questions that have been presented. I would also like to add that everyone has been quite professional in their responses and answered questions very kindly, and for that reason I am very pleased to join the community.

I have a couple of questions. Is their any way to remove a nick in a window? Unfortunately my window was scratched/nicked by a rock on the highway (it's rather small, but I know it's their ). And I was wondering if anyone is from the Northern New Jersey area (Bergen County), that knows a respectable place to get windows tinted (not too much for aesthetic, but to keep the interior of the car cooler).

Thank you in advance to any replys (either for help or just to say hi). Oh, by the way, I love the car, it is absolutely wonderful and a pleasure to drive.

Welcome to the board, I'm a newbe owner myself. I can't help you with the tint, but as for the dings take it a to a window shop that repairs dings professionally. Here in texas we have ding masters and if you get it quick enough they can make it almost transparent and it's not very expensive. You can also buy ding repair kits in the auto shop, but I tried it once and the results wern't that great.
