 E90 Test drive

Well, I just test drove the E90 (330i, step, sport, premium) and all I can say is, "Wow". Talk about mediocrity. This car blows! The ride was extremely numb. The acceleration was unimpressive. The automatic was... automatic. The ergonomics must have been designed by a retarded monkey (cupholders anyone? Oh, and what's with the window buttons being placed on the doors?) This is the first time I've driven a steptronic BMW in any flavor, so I can reasonibly attribute my negative feelings about the car to this factor. Bimmers are meant to be manuals. From my experience, though, the E46 outshines the E90 in every (immesureable) aspect. Anyone else feel the same way?

Not really, unless you consider every positive review about the E90 to be a repost as well...

Oops, my bad.
nah... I guess if I were driving an M3, I'd feel the same way... trust me this car grows on you. I had a 330CI I loved, and this car kicks its butt in almost every way....

BUT... there are other threads on this ad nauseum...

I love the e90 and think its is by leaps and bounds better than the e46 not only in exterior design but also engine power, and interior design.

The e46 looks dated inside and out...

I'm sure when the e90 M3 rolls around you will change your mind

You said every bmw is ment to be manual, but u must realize that the majority of BMW owners dont even kno what type of engine is inside their car.
