I looked at my RF tires and they seem to have a small "curb protector" near the rim edge. I know my Falkens on my Mustang have them but they are fairly hefty. The ones on the Bridgestones seem very small. In an effort to avoid a door ding, I tried to park as close to the curb as possible in my office parking lot and sure enough curbed it. I have a 2-inch scratch now on the driver's front rim. Anyone else having problems?

Sorry to hear that. I try to avoid door dings by parking on the edges too. But don't you just love it when some idiot comes along and parks next to you completely crossing the white parking lines?

Low profile tires don't offer much protection. It's not if you will curb a wheel, but when.

The Bridgestones do NOT, but others do. Just a bad design. Good luck
