I know with the iDrive controller/mouse, when there is no more options, it'll let you know with the force feedback when you try to turn. Sometimes there are more options and it still has the force feedback telling you there isn't. Is this normal?

You just twist the mouse and hold it and the remaing selections will appear (with a strange rattle or "bumpy" type feeling in the mouse). I have no idea why it's designed that way. If you want to scroll down through your phone list it's annoying.

I have found this too and agree it's irritating when there are more items on the list (I thought it was a fault but my dealer tells me it's 'normal').
The phone list problem can be overcome by using the arrows on the steering wheel - at least you don't get the shake rattle & roll feeling!
