Mine is still not at the dealer  , and I'm wondering if the reason is that 801 BMWs on one ship take a lot of time to process and ship, or it was maybe damaged and being repaired. Please post your experience if your car was on this ship. Anyone know how to tell if there was damage, and whether this is a concern? BTW, the dealer has loaned me a sparkling new '05 325xi Touring until mine arrives.  |

Mine was on the Turandot as well. According to BMWNA, it was to be released to the trucking company last Friday morning, and to my dealer either Friday afternoon or Saturday morning. I knew there wouldn't be enough time to register the car, but I drove down anyway on Saturday to see the car. It wasn't there.
I inquired inside the dealership, and they looked up my car, saying that I was correct... it was supposed to be delivered that morning, but it (for some unknown reason) get released to shipping as it was supposed to. So, as of Saturday, it was still at the distribution center. I'm calling today, to find out when I can expect to take redelivery.

Larry, I can imagine the wait must be killing you. I am sorry to hear that. I hope you get it soon (take plenty of pics!!!). Were you planning to run it at next Saturday's autocross?

I've been playing phone tag with my dealer for the past week trying to understand what the holdup is. According to my CA, the car was released from the VPC and scheduled to arrive tomorrow (Tuesday) at the dealership.
But they still have to install my alarm & spoiler, so I'm looking at another day on top of everything else. 
I'm willing to bet things got delayed because of the July 4th holiday. Maybe people were on vacation and short-staffing caused delays..?

Good luck, | Yep.. Already broke it in driving across Europe. I was hope to have it on Saturday, to fit the K1's to it, and if they fit, then to see if the 245's Azenis fit up front.. then order some 265s for the back. Now, I'm just hoping to get it in.
