Just curious about this, because I didn't see it mentioned anywhere in the official brochure and can't find any information about it by searching this forum. It was a wonderful feature for E39 5 Series owners who had to face brutally cold morning commutes- just press a button on the wheel and you'd have a nice, toasty steering wheel in seconds. I wonder why it's not available on E90s if in fact it isn't. |

At least the heated seats are FAST! | True.. there were a few times when driving across Europe, I turned my wife's seat on high (as a joke). It was close to 95 degrees out a the time. Within 10 seconds she'd be squirming, and 5 seconds after that, I'd get a whack, and she'd turn it off.

Hey- at least we don't have those flaky LED door handle lights on our E39s. We step into puddles and badly cracked pavement at night, twisting our ankles, and we LIKE it that way!
