I have some gum stick to my new 330 paint. I tried to removed it but instead spread up. Any suggestions on how to remove gum from paint?

I used WD-40 to remove the gum. Just make sure you rinse the area with soapy water after and apply wax since the WD-40 will remove the wax.

there is some stuff called Acrosol that works great on tar, gum, sap. I bought mine at my Acura dealer. I would imagine you could get it a an auto parts store.

My stupid sister threw her gum out the moon roof last week and it stuck and smeared all over the top of my trunk.... I tried a number of things but I found that one spray of "Goo Gone" gel spray did the trick (found it at home depot - if you get the spray gel or the goo gone for autos it is safe on the paint job). I let it sit for one minute, then wiped it away... Then I did a quick wash (with car soap) and rinse to make sure that all the goo gone was washed away (even though it's safe for cars, I didn't want to take a chance)...
Then I beat my sister black and blue...
Just kidding... I wanted to beat her, but she's 32, and 250# and can kick my a**.

If you want to save wash / wax try- WartnerŪ an over the counter product that freezes warts, do not use on a very hot surface, allow to cool before use (thermal shock could case paint to crack) spray on gum and then remove. Will also remove gum from carpets, seat fabric (inc leather) and viynl
