I received delivery of my E90 over the weekend (I have a long post of the whole delivery/first impressions, likes/dislikes - coming tomorrow)
However for now I have a question that I hope someone can respond to so I can check it in the morning.
When I park the car, turn the engine off, take out the fob and lock the doors the P light (orange) on the steptronic and the backlight of the (start/stop engine) button stay on?
Is this normal?

Yes. They´ll shut of by themselves later.

It is normal. I don't actually know if it does shut off. On my fathers 2003 model 330i A, I never once saw the car with this light off.

Thanks guys, I read your post this morning before leaving the house and when I checked, both lights were still on this morning.
I wonder why those lights stay on? Oh well as long as it's normal.....
Time to start working on my long post of first impressions with the new E90, I owe it to you guys.

I guess they stay on just to look cool.
