Window Tinting!!!!! Yes Or No????

Ok folks....more questions from those of you with more knowledge that me......

Jet black + black Letherette = hot as hell!!!!!!!!

Q: How much tinting is legal? What windows are legal? Will it actually help?

I am NOT interested in modding this car (much). I just want it to be cooler inside.

I know that there are those of you out there that have the knowledge I need.... Please pass it on to us.

It really depends on the laws in your state. For example, in Iowa the law is no darker than 70% on the driver and front passenger window but the back windows can be painted black if you wanted to. Now 70% tint doesn't even exist so the law is a joke. Most cars here have 35% on the front driver/passenger windows and I've been here 3 yrs and have never heard about anyone getting a ticket for "too dark" tint.

I'm taking mine in to get tinted this week but I haven't decide how dark to go yet. There are places here that will go as dark as 20% on the front windows but I'm not sure if I want to push my luck. The problem is that I want to put the same level all the way around and I'm not sure if I want just 35% on the back windows. Decisions, Decisions.....
