Malfunctioning Seat heater?
I've got a new E90 330i, great car except for the fact that whenever I drive it it seems like the seat heater is on low. The button is not on. I can feel my back getting warmish after 10 minutes, after an hour I'm sweating. This is with the A/C set at 18.5C my front is nice and cool. It even does it coming out of a cool garage. The seats are Ette but it couldn't be that bad. It hasn't been that hot here(Toronto) and it happens at night as well.
Anyone else had this issue? Could it be a wiring problem? Is there a seperate fuse just for the seat heaters, so I can take it out to try that before taking it back to the dealer?
Thanks.
| | Reply » Malfunctioning Seat heater? | I don't know much about BMW's Q.C. workings, but it seems to me you should take it to the dealer on principal. This crap needs to get logged and elevated. It drives me crazy with any product to go back to the vendor with a problem and they look at me and say "I've never seen that before" particlarly when I have read forum posts from people who have seen the same problem. We all love our bimmers and often are all too likely to overlook small problems and try to deal with them ourselves. You have a brand new car under warranty, go in and make them fix it!
