So here we are in May of 2005 and BMW is now shipping 2006 year models. When will the 2007 model year cars be available? When does BMW traditionally introduce new models? Will the 2006 e90s be available for greater than 1 year?

If it sells well, BMW has no need to introduce 2007 models until next September.

September 2006. The normal cycle.

In August, the factories shut down for a month (and re tool if they need to).
Sept, they start next year's production. Mind you they won't get here till around October/November.
