"Both of the engines are 3 liter now, even though it sort of makes no sense as a "325" but they decided to keep the model numbers for consistency. 325 has 215 hp and 330 has 255 hp. I've driven the new 06 330i and have an 04 TL. The TL might get it straight off the line but it would be close. The driving mechanics, handling, ride, etc. of the 330 blow the TL away. It is the UDM."
This is quote from the Acura TL Forum. They actually admitted. The BMW will smoke the TL in a heartbeat. I'm waiting for my 330/Titanium Silver/Black Leather/SP/Heated front Seats bimmer. Is already on its way. I'll be smoking TLs by the end of the month.

Heh, I was deciding between the two cars but the decision didn't take very long. Maybe if the TL was RWD it would be tougher but, with all 270hp of torque steer my mind was made up the instant I drove the cars.

I used to drive a TL-S and when I drove the new TL I was horrified. Terrible lack of composure due to torque steer. Just sloppy. Now everybody gets the high horsepower version as there's no more type-S, but unfortunately that means everyone gets the softer suspension too. I wonder what the Acura engineers think.

All I can say is that the TL is not a drivers car. It is a FWD boat with some overrated HP and nothing more.
