Are these taillights more, or less, flattering?
The current TV ads here in Canada do not reveal the E90's taillights. Arguably, they are the least attractive part of this car, which, after seeing it in person, is otherwise well proportioned and, although a bit bland, certainly not ugly. The attached image features photoshoped taillights that, on the side of the vehicle, have a shape similar to those of a 2005 E46. Photoshop quality aside, which taillights would you pick if given the choice? Of course, you may feel this is like having to choose the lesser of two evils, but nonetheless, this is just for fun.  | | Reply » Are these taillights more, or less, flattering? |

Leave the poor E90 alone. Itīs fine. Just like the E46 when itīs going out, everyone will be crying: "They stopped making the most beautiful BMW ever". As usual...

Quote: | The 3 series design is always evolving. Look for a E90 face lift in a year or two. | AFAIK BMW has never done a facelift of any series less than 3 years into its lifespan. Usually at least 4 years and sometimes so subtle, you couldnīt tell (remember an E36 facelift anyone?)
