Hi
I will be sending out a quote for the following BMW 325 European Delivery:
Invoice BMW 325i $25645 Sport package $1455 Xenon $730 Leather $1320 Metallic paint $430 Heated seats $455
Total invoice price: $30035
Dealer profit $1500 Delivery charge $695
Total price: $32230
My questions: 1. Does this look like a reasonable total price? 2. Have I missed anything? 3. What can I expect to pay except for the above listed, such as misc. fees? What is acceptable, what is not. 4. Should I ask for the Lease numbers now or should I do that after getting a good deal? 5. How close to the published BMW FS base rate 0.00255 do you think I should settle for? I noticed that LeaseCompare has a bank offering a moneyfactor of 0.00210. Is it possible to negotiate the rate below BMW FS's base rate?
Would appreciate some expert advice!!
Thanks, David, soon to be a BMW owner.

Agni, they're available in the stickies of this forum. Look around.
David,
That looks good. Seems some dealers also charge an advertising fee that BMWNA charges them that's around $300-400. I can't recall if this applies to ED cars as well. Its also not unimaginable for you to allow for only $1200 dealer profit on your offer you send around, although mention that you will accept counteroffers if they don't accept what you've faxed/emailed them.
Also, for the lease, don't let the dealer calculate the new car value based on what non-ED cars cost. It should be the ED value and nothing more.
Good luck and welcome to the E90 club.

Quote: 2. Have I missed anything?
Thanks, David, soon to be a BMW owner. | Yes. You left out your first name in your User ID on Roadfly.
Seriously, Armen is right about counter-offers. I had a local BMW salesman call me today, upset that I hadn't come in to cut a deal with him. He ended by saying that the sales manager was so hungry for deals that he was selling E90's at a nickel over invoice.
Yeah right, sure its baloney, but you never know how low some dealers may go.....

I agree with Armen, start lower on the profit.
Actually I kind of regret not starting lower on my offer, but I can't complain about my deal. I only send out 4 e-mails and got the deal done with one of the 4 that I e-mailed.
It was almost too easy, hard to believe.

I would offer $1000 dealer profit, sent email/fax to competing dealers and wait for their offers. The best offer you should take to your dealer of choice and ask to match the same. Leasing numbers should be discussed AFTER you negotiated your ED price. Also, remember that leasing rates change every month. May rates are better than April rates and waiting for June rates might even save you more money. LeaseCompare has better rates but you won't find a company to lease you an ED car. Therefore you are stuck with BMWFA. No other fees besides destination fee apply to ED, not even advertising fees. Good luck Blitzteufel
