On one of the pictures of E90 330i there is a keyfob, which has 2 silver buttons (attached). But on the brochure I got from a dealer, the keyfob has all buttons black (probably all plastic). Does anybody know if the difference in the style of the keyfob depends on having comfort access or 330i vs 325i or perhaps it's just outdated brochure?

Maybe there's different FOB's for USA / GERMANY.
Different frequency's maybe???
Just a guess though.

Yea i noticed the one on the broshure, but i am certian that is just a prototype. Because at the 3 Across America they had the one with silver buttons.
So I am sure that we will get the one with silver buttons even if you dont get comfort access.
Hope that helps

All the 1 Series here have Black buttons, and all the E90 I have seen have Silver
Maybe they used a pic of a 1 Series Key in the Brochure

It's silver (at least on the key I used). 325i without the Comfort Access. It was a distributor car but I'm sure it was the US spec that we're getting (had mpg gauge, US speedo w/ mph, US radio, crappy red turn signals,etc.).

I'm pretty sure the one with the silver buttons also means that the buttons themselves are actually aluminum, like on the 7 series' key. Very nice in look and feel compared to plastic.
