gray leather
terra leather
beige leatherette
Any opinions or preferences in a dark blue or jet black car?

I think Terra would look great in either of those colors, especially the black. Beige is an upkeep nightmare. Everything will look grungy after a couple of years - especially the carpet.

Go with Terra leather or black ette. Black ette is zero maintenance. I got it on my 325i for easy maintenance but I was surprised at how good it looked. I thought I didn't like black interiors but this stuff changed my mind.
If you have to maintain leather then it might as well be something beautiful like Terra. And it has very tasty contrasts with the black interior trim and carpets that come with it.
Beige carpet will look dirty after a couple of days use. And with all the beige trim that goes with it you get a boring, zero contrast interior. My mother in law would like it.

I think the hardest part with the Terra is finding a trim that goes well with it. From what I've seen so far, I think the brushed aluminium goes quite well. The wood just doesn't look right with it in all the virtual mock ups. But I'm also not a wood trim person.
The walnut and aluminum go quite well with black. Can't make a mistake.

When I showed my wife the Terra with walnut she pointed out how the black streaks in the walnut pick up the black interior trim, giving it a very integrated look. The poplar is an interesting wood but it doesn't pull these colors all together like the burl walnut does.
