I just saw the CNBC segment on the new 3. They showed off a light blue 2-liter, 4 cylinder 1972 BMW 2002 tii next to a silver E90 330i. Bill Griffeth of CNBC sat first in the 2002, then in the 330, while he interviewed Tom Purves. They showed the interiors of the two cars, and remarked how the tach was very similar between the two. The first few questions were about the more conservative styling of the E90, given the mixed reviews of the 5 and 7 series. Tom gave the expected response about the 5 and 7 being enormous successful. In general, there wasn't a whole lot of new information revealed, although Tom did say that pricing for the E90 will be announced within 48 hours and that the pricing will be "not very much more than the present car". We'll soon see what that means...
