My new M3 is now home in Texas. Between the ED and the drive home from the east coast it has almost 4500 miles - still wearing temporary tags!
The Bimmerfest bunch has been a big help to me, and I want to say thanks.
Advice and info on various options came from several different members.
E36m3r's writeup of his ED not only tipped me into the ED decision, but fired me up to make the decision to go ahead and get an M3.
Beewang, thanks for the information and for the use of your Europe Nav disk.
Also, Joern Esser of Passport BMW in MD. Great guy to deal with as well as providing good info on Germany, his homeland.
Also everyone who put up photos and writeups of ED adventures - Thanks
Jerry

Have you posted your ED pics somewhere? It would be great to see them!

Where are the pictures?! There aren't a lot of M3 ED'rs. Welcome to the club. Mine arrives at Port Huename (sp?) tomorrow so the long wait is almost over. Thank god. Congrats on the M3.

I put a bunch on the ED forum (got back about a month ago...just got redelivery last Wed) I also put some on the Z forum (We stumbled into a nest of Z8s in Nyon Switzerland -- the hotel we stayed was base for a three day rally and there were more than 20 beautiful Z8s in the parking lot)
I plan to put up a text and photo thing on my website, but haven't gotten it done yet. (Been so busy playing with the new M3, I can't get anything else done. My wife even wants me to do some Christmas shopping, but so far I have my priorities straight
