Just received the following, for those interested in taking a "taxi" ride around the ring...

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

we are glad to inform you that from now a first contingent of tickets for the BMW Ring-Taxi is obtainable at http://bmw-motorsport.com/ring-taxi/en/index.html.

The price for one ticket, which is valid for up to three persons per lap, will be € 180.00.

Unfortunately, we are not able to receive credit card payments until next year, so please be prepared to transfer the amount directly to our account when purchasing your ticket.

We will despatch your ticket by post as soon as we will have received your payment, so if you plan to give it as a Christmas present, please take account of the delay that might be caused by both transferral and delivery.

The date of your individual ride in the V10 M5 BMW Ring-Taxi can be booked from March 2006 on the above mentioned web page. In 2006, the BMW Ring-Taxi service will be available on approx. 40 days during the time from April to October.
