Can ED cars be ordered without the clown nose?

I've read a few other threads regarding the clown nose which mention that not all BMW models around the world have it. In particular, it seems that some European models which are not pre-wired for an alarm don't have it. Personally, I think the thing is an abomination and is a complete eyesore, so I'd be very interested in getting rid of it if possible. (Yeah, I know I'd eventually get used to it and it'd be no big deal, but then it's going to be pointed out over and over again by everybody who gets in the car and I'd have to keep listening to it...)

If I order a car for European Delivery, is there a way I can order it so that I get a normal rear-view mirror that doesn't have a ridiculous siren hanging underneath it? I know there's no explicit "leave out that God-awful clown nose" option, but I'm wondering if there's some combination of ordering options I could use to get a 3-series configured in a European style that doesn't have it.

I know it's a long shot, but I figured it couldn't hurt to at least ask...

Geesh dude, get a life, don't you have anything better to complain about?

First off, I'd like to whole-heartedly agree with Chuck.

With that said, ED is not your answer so please look elsewhere. ED cars are the exact same model you would pickup at your dealer in a normal delivery, with no extra options whatsoever.

OK, save for the First-Aid kit and reflector that comes with the car due to EU driving regulations. And even those will likely not be delivered with your car here in the states, so we are advised to take them with us when we drop the car off.

Frond: I'll be more polite than Chuck......NO. You can't. For what it's worth I've had 7 BMWs and the last 3 came with the clown nose. No one has ever pointed it out or asked about it and I use my cars heavily for business.

ED cars are US market cars.

The only difference is that you get to drive them for a while in Europe. The cars are only made the way they can be configured in the BMWNA website.
