Greetings from Renaissance MUC, The temp is 64 F

Sorry I was away for 18 hours, had some RR at the Marriott down the street last night and this morining checked out of the Marriott and walked 800 M to check into the Renaissance.

Just a couple thoughts thus far:

The Marriott is suppose to be 5 stars and the Renaissance a 4 Star. If you ask me I will tell you that Renaissance is a muche BETTER hotel. Its Better, Newer, Cleaner and cheaper. WIFI here cost 12.50 Euro but Marriott wants $30 Euros. I Love the Patio/Belcony touch of Renaissanc Munich. Living proof of paying more doesn't mean its better.

I parked on the street. There are pleanty of street parking if you are patient. This is a pretty upsclae neighboor hood, and I am not at all worried (but I won't leave my laptop/camera in the car, I may be marty mcfly, but I ain't stupid ).

That's it for now, I need to find a way to upload pictures as I didn't bring the cable ((another item that I left home, being Marty Mcfly ).

That's it!! BBL, gonna go to Paulaner Brau for lunch and get silly drunk again

cheers,

beewang

Welcome Aboard, Bee!

What cable? You need a kickass laptop with a built-in card reader

Enjoy your time, yeah that neighborhood is safe, no worries.

When are you coming to Cologne?

He needs to be able to wirelessly tap into his camera via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth!

Just got back from Lunch and Bier (what else is new?? ) at Augustine Brau by the Dome.
Driving is a b*tch during the day thru Schwabing. But I was able to line-up next to a ferrari Modena (muuuhahha) on my way back at a red light and set the 650ci to Launch mode and took out my first kill .

As I was saying, this Renaissance is excellent location. Park the 650ci on the street right on the front of the Hotel (read: FREI!!) and walk to the market/grocery store adjacent to the hotel and found our favorite drink other than bier.... Da FEDERWEISER!! 1.99 Euro a bottle and now wife is a Gonner!! I am still awake but trying not to move to much other wise the room starts to spinn. I think I need to buy some wasser .. I meant water. being here for 24 hrs and I have yet to drink anything other than Hellas, Hefenwaisser, and ferderweisser

Thanks to Zauberhias, called me and gave me directions to tonight's drinking plan at Paulaner Brau. We'll be heading there as soon as wife sobers up .

In the meanwhile, I need to find my way to Electric Commurade to buy a cable to up load pictures. BBL

Oh... saw another ED car (330i) parked on front of the hotel this morning, I wonder if its anyone here at bimmerfest.

cheers,

beewang
