Lufthansa 2 for 1 from SFO

Just wanted to let everyone know that if you are flying from SFO and going for lufthansa 2 for 1 deal, try to get United airline flight. They have code share arrangement or something, however, the flight is operated by lufthansa. Initially I was quoted 1200+ then moving to United with the same aircraft (same timing ) now I am paying ~1000. This is because tax is less in united flights, so you save on your ticket + your partner's ticket.

This should work from other cities too..

enjoy.

I think the United flight is almost a default. I'm doing a Nov 5 departure for Munich.

The price is OK on the 2 for 1. Not for 1.

I am seated with my wife in econ plus seats. Not exactly first class but hope to get through it. I usually travel at least business, on business. But, I am playing, so it should be OK.

Picking up a 650I convertible for a couple of days on the autobahn then shop back to CA.

Ironically, my wife is picking up 997 Carrera S Cabriolet in CA a few days before.

An embarrassment of riches.
