I will pickup my 330i with NAV on 10/17 and am wondering if I can bring cd's with MP3's. I have been reading conflicting reports about MP3's working on cars with NAV. My car was built on 9/15.

It should work. My 330i with NAV was built around the same time as yours (it was built on the 36th week of the year, which starts around 9/12/05). I picked my ride up European Delivery on 9/30/05. I brought an MP3 CD I had burned to test it out. It worked flawlessly. I don't see why yours should be any different.

Do you know if there is a software/firmware upgrade that adds this capability? Mine definately does not play MP3 CDs, I took some to Germany and they were useless. Picked up in April.
Or is this an E90 feature?

This is an E90 September+ production feature as far as I know. E90s prior to September production do not play MP3 CDs when NAV is also installed.
