Can someone please explain the pricing for doing an ED for a 6 series and an M. My limited understanding is that each of these come out of dealer allocation; therefore, there is no discount? But on the BMW website, they show discounted prices for the 6; is the 6 discounted, but not negotiable? Is there any discount available on an M?

Don't know about the 6 series, but there is no discount available on the M.
At least there wasn't when I did mine.
I did however negotiate a nice discount on it.
Don't really know if the fact that it was a ED made any difference or not,
versus just buying it and driving it home on the spot.
Frankly, I've never had a clear undestanding of whether the dealers have any incentive or anthing to gain by discounting the M's destined for ED.
I imagine not. Either way, nobody seems to provide a clear and definite answer.

It might be good if BEE could allow a cross post or transfer of this to the Ask-A-Dealer board or consider PMing Adrian, Sarafil, or Jon.
