In our (never ending?) quest to determine the approximate shipping time to the west coast, we are attempting to determine whether anyone is aware of any ED BMW or non-ED BMW shipping to the west coast on the Wallenius Wilhelmsen Line within the last six months or so.
Even better would be someone with inside knowledge about whether in fact the contract has simply been given to NYK.

Some MINI owners who also enjoy the misery of tracking their cars have said that some cars do get on a WW ship bound for the West Coast. Sometimes, its even a NYK ship that WW "charters" for the passage.

I just saw a comment like that today on an old site that had pictures of the Fuji (NYK) delivering to Pt H for WW. Do you have any sense how current the info was? Thanks.

I think you jumped the gun... There was NEVER any indication whatsoever that a BMW was on a WW line to the west coast... that was pure speculation. Reread that thread and you should probably be able to spot where the speculation krept in. Any percentages on that?
