Day River Cruise for ED?
I've read a lot about the Rhine castles and was wondering if anyone has done a day cruise of this area? My google-ing isn't getting good results...mostly finding multi-day trips. Your help is appreciated!

If you are really up for an adventure you can take day trips from Mainz, going up the river then come back to Mainz using a train.
I did that a few years ago, and it was pretty cool! (and an adventure trying to figure out the train schedule)
We took the boat up to Koblenz, but I think you can make it all the way to Koln in one day (again, train back)
The wine in that area doesn't suck, either!!
