How long to ship back to WA from ED?

Hi all,

If I were to do an ED, how long does it take to ship the car to my home state of WA from Munich?

My re-delivery was a couple days shy of 8 weeks.

I Dropped the car off in Bremerhaven on April 26th last year and picked it up from BMW Seattle on Jun 23rd.

For some reason it sat in Bremerhave for almost 3 weeks. I think I missed a ship by one day.

Noonehome, what was your experience working with BMW Seattle on ED? Did they cut you good ED deal? Have you had any experiences with BMW Of Bellevue on ED?

I just wanted to jump in here and say that I am new to the board and I will be even newer to the Seattle area. But I am interested in setting up ED on an E90 for sometime in June.

I will be moving to Bellevue after I return from Europe so I would like to work with one of these dealers as well. If possible, I'd like to hear your experiences and CA contact info.

Seattle BMW was ok to deal with. But no, they did not give a great deal. I ordered in Dec 03 when they had only seen a few 545's. I knew about the dicounted ED BASE MSRP and when I asked about options being discounted as well they said No, the options were US retail(I think he was misataken because ultimately i think I paid ED MSRP).

I also did not know at the time the 545s were not out of allocation so I did not have enough knowledge to leverage a better deal.

Ultimately, I got the car I wanted when I wanted with as little fuss as possible.
