I'm hoping to lease the new E90 330i ED that I ordered, but the residual and money factors (MF) have not been released....so i'm kinda stuck agreeing to the ED but i have no protection against BMWFS charging me an unreasonably high MF....
so any advice on how I can negotiate this deal? Basically, how can i leverage/protect myself when negotiating on the finance if I have already agreed to buy the car via ED...?

-wajih | I'd suggest you negotiate with your dealer for the base rate..meaning dealer is making no profit on the money factor. When BMW publishes their base rates for the e90, you will get that rate. Don't expect it to be a great rate since the e90 is brand new, but at least you'll know there is no dealer markup in the money factor. Don't forget to negotiate the acquisition fee as well. $650 is base rate for that.

Acq fee is 625.
As for negotiating a deal, best you can do is a price over ED invoice and that's about it. You want a car that is brand new, BMWNA will not be spending their money subsidizing the leases on the new 3 series for a while.

How willing is BMWNA to negotiate the end-lease residual value?

Is this including the .0003 surcharge for ED? Does that still exist?
