I was wondering what happens if the ship docks in NY on a Saturday and departs the following day?
Is your car handled in any way over the weekend?

My car arrived in NY last Saturday and their website states it was released on Monday. My dealership promised me the car this week. We'll see about that. Frankly, I don't know why it takes so long to get to Virginia. I can see a few days, but not 10. I dropped my car at Harms on 7 March. If I get it on Wednesday, that will be be just shy of 6 weeks.

Mike | They've got lots of cars to process when they get a ship load. It's not just a matter of getting one car to Virginia-- it's a matter of getting hundreds of cars to dozens of different dealers across the Eastern Region. They've got to get the sold cars out first, but they also need to be able to fill up a truck with cars going in your general area. If you have one car going to your dealer off of any given ship, it might take a few days to get other cars going to that dealer, or they might fill the truck with cars going to other dealers in the area, and you'll have to wait for the truck to make it to your dealer.

Hey Jerry, I heard they were real busy, and ran out of space for the cars, and yours was parked over on 3rd street all weekend. But they'll get to it first thing Monday!

My car was on Cypress Trail and discharged last Sat (04/02). I dropped off in Munich on 03/10 and am still waiting for redelievery.
