Need help removing two items
Yes, I've searched. And either there isn't anything out there, or I suck at keywords.
1) The plastic trim strip at the rear of the coupe that you can see with the hatch open. It's held on with 6 screws under square plastic trim caps, one screw at each end that's behind other trim pieces and who knows what else. Once those 8 screws are out, what else holds it down? Is it just a "pull up as hard as you can" type thing with those white plastic rivets?
2) The platic surrounds on the driver's and passenger's side locks.
Thanks.

| Didn't get a chance to take any of the car apart a week ago Friday because I was too busy packing for Thailand. Anyway, I have some information for you, but I'm not sure how helpful it's going to be. It looks as if it has a supplier part number, but that BMW doesn't give that individual piece a part number, but instead gives that entire carpeted piece with the part you're looking for a unique BMW part number. There is the possibility that a BMW part number is imprinted where that piece mates with the carpeted piece, but I haven't removed the three screws yet to see if that's the case.
