My SES light came on....being a good owner I checked the manual....check gas cap, which I did. When I attempted to remove gas cap it was very hard to remove and now it won't go back on easily. I decided, gas cap it must be and purchased a new one from the dealership. Parts manager noticed the cap keeper and decided he needed to make sure I could put it on

Well, when he did, he advised once it makes it's clicking noise, everything is good to go....being a woman, I believed the Parts manager god....Got home looked at it, it does not seal whatsoever, if I turned the corner hard, it'd probably come off it's so NOT SEALED!!! I'm assuming that the NON-sealing gas cap will never allow my SES light to go off....am I crazy or just a dizzy brunette?
