Maybe my search capabilities are lacking... Did BMW ever make an E39 wagon, with the v8 and 6 speed? If so, where was it sold, and how do I get one  | | Reply » 540/6 wagon? |

my friend spotted a silver e39 m5 6spd wagon in malibu (we are guessing it is one of less than 10 or maybe it was imported..... he told me where it was but by the time i got there the guy was gone. I was gonna try to buy it on the spot but i think my efforts would have been in vain.

if you really want one, it's either buy one of the imported ones, or call koala motorsports. i've been told they can take a 5-speed auto, and even shove an m5 6 spped tranny!!! just takes a little bit of cash

jack | I've seen pictures of the converted M5 wagon, and of the single BMW factory made M5 wagon.
I wouldn't mind importing one, now that I know they exist...I may have to look into it.
