Hilton Head Island Concourse de Elegance

Here are some pics of the bimmers at the car show. It is sponsored by BMW and GM, So BMW really brings a lot of cars being that the Performance Center is only about 4.5 hours away. Sorry about the pictures being so bright, as there wasnt a cloud in the sky and it was extremely sunny.

The top is every generation of 3 from e90 to the 2002 and bottom are E60, E39, and <1989? M5's. They also had 4 RR Phantoms, 2 e90 330i's, 650i, 750iL, and a white M5. They were also giving a test drives in a z4. I'm going to try to do that tomorrow.

Hawk,

I agree it was a nice event. Kudos to BMW for sponsoring it. Lots of great old cars there and it was cool to watch the early stuff take a trip around the grounds.

BMW had their full line of cars out there for test driving. Well, no M cars but the 3,5,6,7,Z4, X3, and X5 were all there as well as 3 variations of the MINI.

Yup, I test drove a 550i. Wow, what a car. It was BMW's fault for setting up the test drive route on a 7 mile express-way that is a straight as an arrow and giving me a 360 hp car to enjoy for 15 minutes!!! This is a great event that the island hosts every year now on the first weekend in November, and I encourage everyone to attend if possible. I also am getting a 10% discount that I will use at BMW performance driving school and I cant wait
