done all those things (see 'check engine light from hell-e36 1999). I am a little discouraged with the whole thing.

any way, I found out that i will also need work on my pistons spark plugs and such. I am a little concerned. In the last year, my wife and i have dropped a whole lot of money into the car. We love it but we never thought at just over 105K the car would need a rehauling. How can i find out if there was a recall? We have replaced alternator, xml, check engine light bad, spark plugs pistons (reg. maintenance) and a bad seal that leaks
when it rains behind the driver seat.

We love the car but wonder when is enough enough!
