Is there any contraindication or problem with shifting the automatic from D to 4(sport setting) when the car is in motion? Any risk to the transmission??? I have done it a few times but I am not sure if i am endangering anything.

I dont think so...i switch into sport mode all the time while moving...should be OK. Atleast I hope so since I do it all the time...
