Does anyone recommend or has experience with the above plugs? Any advise or reco would be appreciated.

Thanks!

You should get the exact original Bosch or NKG that came with your car. They are 4 point plugs anyway. Don't just buy a generic +4. Many poeple just melt them pretty quickly.

I am running those in my E36 now. The auto parts store was out of the OEM app so I bought these. Havent noticed any difference.

Cool, I will stick to the original plugs only, thanks!

Unless your car was designed for the platnium plugs I would not change them. Platnium has a higer resistance so you will not be getting as hot of a spark unless you modify your ignition to run at a higher voltage.

Is this based on any study or confirmation from a manufacturer? I have seen (and repeated myself) this commonly said thing, but is it truly fact? I know a number of folks who have run platinum plugs in older cars, from the 70's and 80's and had no problems whatsoever. No fouling, or anything...ran fine.

I am begining to think this is Internet lore or something...
