Passing a G35 @100mph, the G35 decided to catch up to me. Now, side by side, he hit the gas and pulled ahead of me. Too bad I hesitated to hit the gas as he pulled. With someone sleeping in my passenger side seat and luggage in the trunk, I debated and decided "what the hell, why not." So I press the gas pedal all the way down and I see that I'm going the same speed as the G35, about 120+. Most likely he was giving it his all because I was unable to close the gap between us. He was only about a half car length ahead of me when I decided to accelerate from 100mph. Seeing that I wasn't worth the effort I let off the gas and continued to cruise normally. He on the other hand hit the brakes and decided to hide behind a truck . I never heard a peep from my V1.

I think I did pretty well for a sedan and I've read similar posts with just about the same results. I'd love to whoop one of those G35's or the 350's when I get a good chance again.
