Just installed Eibach springs in my 2001 530i. The front looks perfect. But the back looks like it is actually slightly higher than my previous factory sport suspension.
QUESTION:
Does the rear spring take time to brake in? Does it get lower with time? Please tell me it is the case .

Yes and yes. Be sure to have a 4-wheel alignment done about 1-2 weeks after installation.

many spring kits do drop the front more than the rear (UUC especially), which is purely for bling and is the OPPOSITE of what BMWs like.

Took some measurments and looks like the front is perfect. The rear is about .75 in to hight. I am attaching the picture of the rear assembley. It the washer suppose to be there?

Looks okay to me...give the springs in back time to settle. You probably only need 2-3 days and they probably won't move anymore. After that, you can determine if the ride height is correct or not or what you expected...or not.

Here are the measurments of the center of the wheel to the fender:
front 13 1/2" left and right, rear: 14" right and 14 3/8 left wheel. that is almost 1" higher than front. Do you still think it will settle?
